Welcome to

Yak Travel

We are specialists in Morocco, North-East India, Pakistan & Nepal.

We lead exciting treks and 4×4 tours for individuals and small groups through some of the most unexplored regions of Morocco and North-East India. We are currently expanding our destinations to include Nepal. Our itineraries are designed for spirited adventurers wishing to explore off the beaten track and to get below the surface of our three destination countries.

We first visited Morocco in 1979 and then India in 1987 and have continued to return to both frequently. We founded our company because we love trekking and touring in the remote, unspoiled regions of these two fabulous countries. We are passionate about wanting to help others to enjoy wonderful times here as we ourselves continue to do.

Our ethos – “If we haven’t done it ourselves, we don’t offer it”.

Our simple mantra makes us a truly exceptional company. All our treks and tours are based upon our own adventures and upon our own travel experiences.

Our company is founded upon the strength of our personal relationships with some of the best local guides in Morocco, North-East India, Nepal & Pakistan who were born in the region, passionately love the region and know it intimately. We know, trust and respect every one of them through our own experiences of trekking and touring with them as our own guides on our own expeditions. We believe that this intimacy, ensures that we stand apart from other companies in being able to provide you with the most personalised of trekking and touring experiences.
