I just wanted to drop a note to say that we had a fantastic time on our 6 day trip in the Toubkal Region. Our hosts could not have taken care of us any better!
We were really happy with everything, food, the company and, above all, we had a great time! Will hold it in our memories for a long time to come.
Abdul and Khalid were great hosts, and Rachid went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I really can’t say enough about them.
It was a great adventure and I hope to back to Morocco soon.
All the best,
We had a great time! I will send you a much longer email when I have the time to ponder, but we have hit the ground running at work.
Morad was every bit as nice a host as we could have asked for, our guide, Hussain, was awesome on every level. He was informative, patient (he needed lots of patience with us!), helpful, hospitable, and a very good friend to us on the mountain. Our transfers were timeous and prompt. The mountains were a breath of fresh air.
All in all, Alan, a very successful trip. You have done good and I wish your TREK IN MOROCCO all the very best success.
Thank you, thank you, and thank you. From the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful for everything you did for us. We had a lifelong memorable holiday.
I would like, in time, to go back and do the Sahara trek. You will be the first to know.
PS: Photos to come…
I brief email to report on how successful our trip was. In retrospect we should have spent more time trekking in the Atlas Mountains. Scenery was exhilarating, from the irrigated walnut valley forests between villages, to the more barren higher slopes.
It will be easy to persuade our 16 year old son to undertake a similar trip for the future, although he was doubtful prior to the trip.
Guide and muleteers were super; and, I have to say, over catered for our food needs. Standard of cooking exceeded our expectations – indeed was better that some tourist restaurants we visited.
Your choice of riads was excellent.
Thanks very much for your organisation. I hope to send friends your way, should Morocco be on their agenda.
We had an absolutely amazing time….tough at times but completely rewarding. We loved every minute of it!! Our guide, Mohammed, and muleteer, Ibrahim, were just the best. They really looked after us and taught us lots about the culture and mountain life. (It turns out Mohammed can do the 12 day trek in 25 hours!!!!). We were sad that it was all over after the 6 days, felt like we had trekked with old friends.
I’m not sure these words are doing it the full justice. George and I keep reminiscing about particular moments; from the breathtaking stars to the piping Berbers we passed … it really was an amazing experience and made our two week holiday a proper adventure. I’m sure you get the gist having experienced it yourself 🙂
