Wildlife safari, Hindu temples, short jungle treks, traditional tribal villages, and a final night in an historic colonial tea plantation bungalow

Head from the ancient Hindu temples of Guwahati across the plains of Assam to the expanse of Kaziranga National Park in search of the endangered white one-horned rhino. Then, cross the mighty Brahmaputra River to Majuli Island, the largest inhabited river island in the world, visiting unique Hindu satras (monasteries). Journey onwards up into the forested foothills of the Eastern Himalaya, to explore the traditional tribal villages of Central Arunachal Pradesh, staying and eating with villagers in their own homes, before returning to Assam and spending a final night in an historic British tea plantation bungalow.
