Morocco’s wild Atlantic coastline offers mile upon mile of some of the very finest sandy beaches to be found against the backdrop of dramatic rollers crashing upon its shores. What is more, while the Atlantic Coast offers a great opportunity to get away from the crowds, it is studded with some impressive coastal towns, too, including modern Casablanca with its celebrated Hassan II mosque, the imperial city of Rabat, and the quaint fishing port of Essaouira with its excellent traditional medina.
