Why Toubkal?

The Toubkal Region offers the opportunity to enjoy both traditional Berber culture and a climb to the summit of Jebel Toubkal which, at 4167m is the highest mountain in North Africa. Any trek in the Toubkal Region is likely to involve winding through beautiful hills, crossing deep gorges, and wading through river streams, at times seeking the shaded protection of juniper and pine trees, at others the cool of cherry and walnut groves. The valleys are home to tiny, isolated hamlets and villages which, perched above their terraced fields of corn and barley, cling to the very mountainside. Why not choose to spend a night or more in a traditional Berber village and gain a closer insight into daily mountain life?
